Libertarian websites to open your mind to a more reasonable and just political philosophy

  • A friend and I edit this group on reddit to compile articles that shine light on the suffering and expenditure caused by our counterproductive endless wars
  • Antiwar - This is another great libertarian site. Go to radio and download Scott Horton's interviews.
  • Counterpunch is the creation of the late Alexander Cockburn. It is the voice of the principled left and other voices against war and elite domination
  • If Americans Only Knew - Real information from Palestine
  • Lew Rockwell - libertarian views on economics, liberty and foreign policy
  • Shadow Statistics - real economic statistics
  • The Mises Institute: The grand daddy of free market economics.

National Debt Clock - Watch our debt bury America's young people.

The Gross National Debt
By dividing this shocking number by around 117,000,000 taxpayers you can see your portion of the US debt. As calculated at 1717:23 GMT on Tuesday the 9th of October, 2012 you owe $138,274. That is $15,000 more than at this same time last year. This debt is not being addressed by the Democrat and Republican parties, in fact they are set to double it again in the next decade if not before. This debt guarantees that if you are under 40 years old, although you will pay thousands in Medicare and social security taxes, you will never collect a dime. Thanks for your selfless donation to the baby-boomers' retirements. Very nice of you. And uh... good luck with your future..................

From " Journey to the East" by Herman Hesse

He who travels far will see things
Far removed from what he believed was Truth.
When he talks about it in the fields at home,
He is often accused of lying,
For the obdurate people will not believe
What they cannot see and distinctly feel.
Inexperience, I believe,
Will give little credence to my song.

Too Many Laws

It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made
by men of their choice, if the laws are so voluminous that they
cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood;
if they... undergo such incessant changes that no man who knows
what the law is today can guess what it will be tomorrow
